20 Carve EXT

The 20 Carve Ext takes the surface area and character of the 20 Carve and moves the tail back to an 8″ fuselage. That extra length adds pitch stability and grip at speed — enough to hold through steep, committed wave faces where the standard 20 can feel right at the edge. The snap is still there. The liveness is still there. You just have more control when the wave demands it. Nick runs it with high mounts on the LIFTX. Advanced riders, under 180 lbs. Works across surf, wake, wing, kite, and downwind.

FEATURES

• 8” Fuse Extending the fuselage from 5.5″ to 8″ lengthens the moment arm between the front and back wings. That added distance gives the tail more authority over pitch, which means the foil holds its trim more consistently at speed and through steep sections where the standard 20 starts to feel like it’s working at its limit.

• 20 in² Surface Area. The Ext keeps the same 20 in² surface area as the standard 20 Carve. The extended fuselage changes how the wing manages pitch, but the surface area keeps the feel lively and the turns snappy — the Carve character is intact.
• Winglets and Positive Tail Angle – Create a load activated grip. Winglets and a positive tail angle carry over from the standard 20 Carve. Combined with the longer fuselage, the grip response is the same, hold when you load it, release when you ease off, but the extended moment arm means the grip translates into better pitch control rather than just tighter turn arc.
